Names have been a big interest of mine since I was a young child. I can recall researching "THE" perfect name for a doll that I had received for my birthday at the age of 8 or 9, and it commenced from there.
I have a love for all things vintage and antique, especially from the Victorian era. You'll likely find that most of my favourite names are old-fashioned, but that's one thing I love - finding the beauty in older, more obscure names, and pairing them with fun, more 'modern' names.
My other interests are in music, literature, creative writing, and history - bit of an 'artsy-fartsy' type, if you will. My favourite musicians range from Rixton and The Vamps, to Kingsland Road and Room 94, and you'll most likely find me with my nose in a book - usually classic literature, but occasionally historical fiction.
My blog title came from an idea I had in mind - I wanted an alliterative title, and I aimed to work one out that included my top girl's name - Doris.
